            C
Was a sunny day
                  G
Not a cloud was in the sky
                D7
Not a negative word was heard
                   Em
>From the people passing by----
      G C
Was a sunny day
                  G
All the birdies in the trees
                   D7
And the radio's singing song
                     G
All the favorite melodies.

           Am D
He was a navy man
                G E
Stationed in Newport News
              Am
She was a high school queen
        D C G
With nothing really left to lose
E Am
She was a high school queen
        D C G
With nothing really left to lose

CHORUS

               Am D
Her name was Lorelei
             G E
She was his only girl
                 Am
She called him Speedoo
            D
But his Christian name
      C G
Was Mister Earl
E Am
She called him Speedoo
            D
But his Christian name
      C G
Was Mister Earl

CHORUS

            C9
Was a sunny day
                  G9

                        G

Notes:

- In the last "Chorus" you must change chords C, G, and D7 for their 9'th
  ones, and play with arpeggios.

- Riffs aren't exactly the originals, but they sounds very nice.
(They're as accurate as i could)
